Well, first thing is first. Whoever didn't turn up that thought about it, missed something else!

The meeting was hard fought, major jacking trains, Full length of strait wrecks and to top it all off in the support heat there was a full blown, no holes barred stockar follow-in.

Round 1
Bangers: Mark "skippy" Osborne, Ben Denyer and Paul Sansom took the top 3 places in the race with a devastating first heat wreck for Mark "Rupert" Cooper. You could tell from the off this meet wasn't going to be light in contact by any stretch of the imagination!

Stockcars: Stuart Watson, Mark "skippy" Osbone and Aaron "Large" Thornton took the top 3 places with just a lap seperating the trio

Round 2
Bangers: Again, HUGE jackings and mega run-ins saw Mark "rupert" Cooper not having a shell to strap back together. He had to get special Permission from the race director to Buy, cut out and sign up a new shell there and then as his 2 race old westy had quite simply Had it! The top 3 spots were taken by Paul Sansom, Kieran "rodney" Osborne and Mark "skippy" Osborne. Anyone would have thought we'd done the derby by now looking at all the shells but that was round 2.

Stockcars: Ben Muskett took the win followed by stuart watson and Kieran Osborne. This was a very messy race with only few emerging.

Round3
Bangers: By this time I think everyone put on their rodding hat. They realised the damage being dished out and taken was quite extreme, and quite a calm race saw Mark Osborne, Paul Sansom and Aaron Thornton come home in the top 3 spots

Stockcars: 2 non-starters in this one saw Ben Muskett take the win followed by Mark and Kieran Osborne. This turned out to be a quiet one.

Round 4
Bangers: Again quite a roddy race but some decent hits being put about. Paul Sansom took the win follwed by Ben Denyer and John Westwood.

Stockcars: The Final heat of the day saw Stuart Watson Return to the top step after carrying out one of the biggest stockcar follow-ins seen at HOT's. It was full latch-on length of the strait burrial for Ben Muskett who retired leaving Aaron Thornton and Steve Vine to complete the podium

Banger Final: Messy! was one word that sprung to mind. But now everyone had their rodding hat on. They knew the DD was still to come to so now they started the pot hunting. Scott "knobby" Waite took the spoils of the day shortly followed by Oliver Sansom and Mark "rupert" cooper. Mega final!

Stockcar Final: was fast paced yet again with Stuart Watson taking the spoils infront of Mark Osborne and Steve Vine

Banger Derby: Epic Derby, didn't last all that long but with most the field knocked out the track it was left for Lewis "magic" Parry and Aaron "Large" Thornton to battle it out. A last ditch attack saw the Hearse of Large win the derby with major "hangage" of most body panels.

Smart car awards went to : Paul Sansom and Mark Osborne
Best Wrecker award went to : Lewis "magic" Parry

Brilliant day had by all at Hot's.
